First Tenders Announced for the Reconstruction of Objects in the Kiev Oblast
Ukraine has announced the first tenders for the reconstruction of objects in the Kiev Oblast. The plan is to restore residential buildings in Bucha, Makarov, Vyshhorod, and the administrative building in Borodyanka. The expected cost of works for one of the objects reaches 96 million UAH.
The Reconstruction Service in the Kiev Oblast has announced the first tenders in the Prozorro system for the procurement of services related to the reconstruction of residential buildings in Bucha, Makarov, Vyshhorod, and the administrative building in Borodyanka. Construction companies can submit their applications until July 5, as reported by the Reconstruction Agency.
It is noted that multi-apartment buildings in the region have been damaged as a result of shelling, leading to partial destruction of buildings and infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, and heating networks. Therefore, comprehensive reconstruction is required to enable people to return to their homes.
„In order to allow people to return to their own homes, it is necessary to restore the infrastructure quickly and with high quality. Therefore, we invite construction companies with experience in implementing projects in civil construction to participate in the announced tenders on a competitive basis,” the agency statement said.
The expected cost of works for each object varies, ranging from 27.8 million UAH for repairs in Borodyanka to 96 million UAH for the reconstruction of a house in Bucha.
Ukrenergo has provided information on the number of damaged energy facilities that have been restored.
All construction companies with sufficient experience in similar projects, equipment, and financial capabilities are eligible to participate in the tenders. Once the winners are determined, contracts will be concluded, and construction work will commence.
The Ministry of Infrastructure previously presented the DREAM ecosystem, which aims to display all data related to each stage of object reconstruction in Ukraine.
